Event Details - NCS Prospects 360 Combine Event​

 

Welcome to the NCS Prospects 360 Combine Event, where athletes will participate in a tournament-style competition alongside an optional combine testing opportunity. This event, designed by MLB scouts, college coaches, and professional baseball experts, offers a three-game guarantee for teams and an optional chance for individual athletes to be tested on key metrics, such as speed, agility, strength, and hitting/pitching performance.​

 

The combine testing features state-of-the-art technology, recording real-time metrics that provide athletes with a detailed performance report page. This report can be used to track their improvement over time and compare their results against peers nationwide.​

 

What’s New in This Event Format:

​

• Three-Game Tournament:

  • Teams will compete in a three-game guarantee, providing players with an option to showcase their skills in real-game situations.

• Optional Combine Testing:

  • In addition to the games, athletes can sign up for an optional combine testing session, where they’ll be evaluated on key performance metrics using cutting-edge testing and analytics. This includes:

    • Pitcher Bullpens: Evaluate arm strength, velocity, and pitching mechanics.

    • Hitting Metrics in Batting Cage: Measure bat speed, exit velocity, and swing mechanics.

    • Speed & Agility Tests: Including 10-30-60 yard sprints and the 5-10-5 shuttle to assess acceleration, speed, and lateral movement.

    • Raw Arm Throw Testing: Measure raw arm strength and velocity.

    • Catcher Pop Times: Evaluate throw accuracy and speed for catchers.

• Optional Scouting Evaluations:

  • In addition to the combine testing, NCS pro scouts and coaches will evaluate players who purchased the Comprehensive Scouting Report, during the games, assessing in-game skills and intangibles. Players will receive comprehensive scouting reports based on their performance both in the combine testing, If they attended the combine, and live-game play.​

 

Scouting Reports:

After the event, athletes that purchased the scouting report and attended the combine testing, will receive their scouting reports on ncsprospects.com, showcasing their game and combine metrics.​
