Dylan had tremendous bat speed and the ability to drive the ball to all fields. His stride direction is the one area that he needs to maintain for better balance, bat path and transfer through the zone. One handed short bat drills and slot/connection drill has improved his overall swing.

From the left side Dylan stride direction is the one area of focus. When it is straight and doesn't dive into the plate all areas of his swing are elite. When it is off all areas break down a little. One handed drills and Connection drills have helped from a physical standpoint. Mental approach and game planning are constantly discussed along with various situations.

Very good balance with legs and hands in a good position Has a tendency to over-rotate the shoulders and load too much He is in a great launch position to recognize pitches and drive the ball. Swing path gets affected by his load and separation. when that is good his path is in the middle of the field. His body stays behind the ball well Great plan and approach in the box. I suggest more game type swings during BP with situations so he can continue his control of the strike zone and his handling of game situations.
