Event Details - NCS Prospects 360 Combine Event
Welcome to the NCS Prospects 360 Combine Event, where athletes will participate in a scouted tournament-style competition alongside an optional combine testing opportunity. This event, designed by MLB scouts, college coaches, and professional baseball experts, offers games for teams and an optional opportunity for individual athletes to receive a comprehensive scouting evaluation on their baseball skills and to be tested on key metrics, such as speed, agility, strength, arm strength and batting.

Tournament Style Games

Teams will compete in live games, with on field batting practice and infield / outfield before one game.

Scout Evaluation

A professional scout will evaluate each player’s baseball skills during the event and create a basic scouting report on each player with an opportunity to purchase a more comprehensive evaluation.

Every player receives an NCS 360 prospects jersey at check in.

Optional Combine Testing
In addition to the games, athletes can sign up for an optional combine testing session, where they’ll be evaluated on key performance metrics using cutting-edge testing and analytics.
Test Stations and Importance: (see Registration Page for specific event details and test offerings)

Hitter Metrics in Batting Cage: This station measures bat speed, exit velocity, and swing mechanics. These metrics are essential for evaluating a hitter’s potential and power.

10-30-60 Yard Sprint Time: This test evaluates speed and acceleration, two crucial attributes for baseball athletes in fielding, base running, and overall game performance.

5-10-5 Shuttle: This agility drill tests quickness, lateral movement, and the ability to change direction rapidly. It is key for evaluating an athlete’s agility and fielding skills.

Broad Jump: This test measures lower-body explosiveness and power, which is vital for improving pitching velocity, bat speed, and fielding range.

Vertical Jump: This test assesses how high an individual can jump vertically from a standing position, making it a valuable tool for coaches and trainers to evaluate leg strength and athletic ability.

(In select events only) Raw Arm or Positional Throw Testing: This test measures arm strength and velocity.

(In select events only) Catcher Pop Times: For catchers, this test measures throwing accuracy and speed, important for evaluating defensive abilities and base-stealing prevention.

(In select events only) Pitcher Bullpens or In-Game Evaluations: Athletes will showcase their pitching mechanics and velocity. This test helps evaluate their arm strength, control, and overall pitching techniques
